What do the request status types mean?

Queue 
This status indicates that the request has been created by the requestor but has not yet been assigned. The request is awaiting assignment and has not yet entered active processing. 

 

Assigned 
This status indicates that the request has been assigned to a specific custodian and has not yet been marked as In Progress. The request is awaiting review or action. 

 

In Progress 

This status indicates that the request has been marked In Progress and work has begun on the request. The request is currently being processed and remains open until further action is made.  

 

 

Fulfilled 
This status indicates that requested records have been uploaded, the request has been marked as completed, and the request is now awaiting payment from the requestor. 

 

Pending Shipment 
This status indicates that the requestor has paid for mail delivery, and the request has not been shipped. The records pending shipment, as the request has been paid for at this point. 

 

Closed 

This status indicates that the request is fulfilled, and the requestor has completed all required payments for the records. No further action is required from either party, unless the requestor raises an issue on the request.  

 

Rejected 
This status indicates that the record request has been marked as rejected, and the request is now awaiting action from the requestor. No further action is necessary until the requestor makes an action on the request.  

Cancelled 
This status indicates that the requestor has cancelled the request, and no further action is required.
